Mouth-watering cuisine: Mano's Restaurant offers a range of quality Indian and Malaysian dining. ''We can't spell success without U,'' says Mano's Restaurant owner Chandra (Bob) Tewari. Mano's has been supplying Upper Hutt with delicious Indian and Malaysian meals for more than 10 years. It is the only local restaurant that cooks both of these mouth-watering cuisines under one roof. They are famed for their tantalising butter chicken, which is always a favourite with the customers. The award-winning restaurant also serves the cheapest lunches in town at only $8 for a curry, rice and naan meal, Mr Tewari says. ''Quality, quantity and value is our basic principle.'' From Sunday to Thursday, Mano's is offering customers a complimentary soup for dine-in guests. Every takeaway order receives free poppodoms. The business recently changed hands when the former owner sold the business to Mr Tewari, who worked as their chef. Mr Tewari loves serving the community with traditional delicacies, and has 10 years' experience as a chef. ''I enjoy cooking and using innovation with my meals. ''I also enjoy chatting to customers and creating food which suits their specific tastes.''
