Pineapple, mango: the exotism for the skin and senses. 2011 SPRING - SUMMER PROFESSIONAL CARE RADIANCE AND FRESHNESS Truth For Our Times Part One Hundred & Thirty Five Was Jesus raised in his physical or spiritual body? In a tract that I have, it says that Jesus was raised in his physical body at his resurrection. If this is right, then Jesus did not give that body as a sin-offering for the world. Sacrifices under the Law were wholly consumed-either by being burned on the altar, eaten by the priests, or burned without the camp. The bodies of the Day of Atonement sacrifices were not eaten, but were wholly consumed by fire, the blood only carried into the mercy-seat. Type and antitype are referred to in Hebrews 13:11, 12-" For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate". Nothing more is said of our Lord's body than that it did not see corruption. Also where it says in Luke 24:39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have". If you have a look at the word "have" in the original Greek, you will see it has the word "having". The form of flesh and bones which Jesus was then having was not his proper post-resurrection state, but was assumed for the purpose of manifesting himself to the eyes of the disciples, so they could be satisfied that he was indeed raised from the dead. His proper spiritual body could not be seen by them for human eyes cannot see spirit beings. How could Jesus also suddenly appear at times in the room where the disciples were, when the door was shut, John 20:19,26, if he was in a physical body. We see in earlier times the angels could materialize and assume human appearance, so it would be natural for Jesus, as a Spirit, to be able to do the same. We see where the angels are spiritual beings, Heb. 1:7, and if it is true that Jesus was raised in a physical body, would mean that Jesus will be lower than the angels who are spirits. We see in John 4:24 that Jehovah is a spirit. At his resurrection, Jesus was given the highes to possible kind of life. It is that he now has "life in Himself". He spoke of this prophetically to his disciples (John 5:26),.. . "As the Father hath life in Himself; so hath we given to the Son to have life in himself". He could not, therefore, after his resurrection be human, for that is a form of life lower than the angels. But He is now "far above angels"; hence farther still above all that is human. Previous to this only the Father had "life in himself". But he has now conferred this wonderful life upon His Son, and thus we see that in two respects at least he is now like the Father; He is an "exact impress of his substance", and "he has life in himself". Crash victim critically injured Monday morning's three-car crash on Moonshine Bridge left one person fighting for their life and two others injured. The crash happened at 6.50am. Two people were cut from the wreckage and taken to Hutt Hospital. One was later discharged, but one received critical injuries and underwent surgery. Debris from the crash was scattered across State Highway 2, which was closed for three hours. Long delays were reported and traffic was diverted through Silverstream. Things were made worse by a nose-to-tail accident at 9.30am as traffic backed up near the first crash. Five people were assessed for minor injuries, but none needed hospital treatment.
