The two-day event at the Moon- shine motocross track in Bulls Run Rd on the Moonshine hills featured the region's best motocross racing by almost 80 competitors from around the Wel- lington region. It was the first event where the club had used its new electronic scoring system. The club, formed in the mid-70s, has leased the Bulls Run Rd site from the Wellington Regional Council since 1995 and caters for riders aged five to 50s with regular race days on the third Sunday of every month. Membership is more than 150 and the club holds organised trail rides in the Karapoti forest -- website, kmmc.co.nz.
