These Kapi Mana Motocross Club youngsters all competed in the recent New Zealand mini nationals with James finishing eighth, Lachie seventh and Angus 23rd in their respective classes. The club's best result at the nationals went to Stokes Valley five-year old Boston Doherty who finished third best in the country. Boston and Lachie followed up this success on the weekend too, at the Manawatu club champs, with Boston finishing in first place just ahead of Lachie. Lift off: Seven-year old Angus Ross hits the motocross highs. The Kapi Mana Motocross Club is holding its yearly mini kids camp the weekend after next, December 17 and 18, with all the action at the club s track in Bulls Run Rd (off Moonshine Rd). All riders -- beginners and the more experienced -- are welcome with their families. All bikes are also welcome, from 50cc up to 110cc and all riders will need a New Zealand standards approved helmet and a chest pro- tector.
