This year the winner also receives a University of Otago dux scholarship valued at $5000 which includes a guaranteed place in a residential college should the dux wish to study at the university. Proxime accessit (runner-up) to the dux was Felicia de Haan, who receives the Peter Lee Cup, which is named after a former principal.
